Having the Time of My Life by Idina Menzel (Maureen)

Hey everybody! I'm sitting here in my hotel room in San Francisco after a crazy day of shooting. We must have shot "La Vie Boheme" 723 times today. That's a lot of mooning for me. For any of you that are new to the show, Maureen tries to embarrass Benny in front of these investors by dropping trou. Needless to say the crew is well acquainted with my ass and that's ok because they are the coolest guys ever.

I am having the time of my life. Sometimes I can't believe we are here. Every time I see Chris Columbus I have to hold myself back from thanking him over and over again for having the faith in us. I mean it's practically unprecedented for original cast members to get this opportunity. He is incredibly committed to this project. It's really wonderful to see.

It's funny, having been away from Maureen for so long, I wasn't sure how well I knew her anymore. I didn't want to lose whatever it was that drew people to her, but I knew there was more to discover. You will be happy to know she is still as self absorbed and as vain as ever. I'm looking forward to shooting "Take Me or Leave Me" soon.

Tracie Thoms is amazing. She makes Maureen really work for it! Well I hope you are enjoying the site. I'll come back in a few days with some scintillating gossip! Those actors playing Maureen and Benny can't keep their hands off each other. Something must be going on with those two.
