I love how the langauge wasn't as bad in the second as in the first. I enjoy 'cleaner' movies than what's out for PG-13 now.

That was a nice little quiz. I have seen both Spider-Man 1 and 2 so many times I dream them out in my sleep. I had to go back to the DVD to check out 2 or 3 questions, submitted them in, and then went back to watch the entire film. I have posted so much these past years on blogs ranting and raving about how great Spider-Man is, and voiced my predictions for the second; and the same thing happend with this third one. I'm ranting and raving about my excitement (as is every fan) for this one. I never posted on the offical blogs in the past, with this one I thought, what the heck...why not? The craziest thing of it is, its not that the fans are necessarily "Spider-Man" fans, they are just general fans of the films. I have always loved Spidey, but every since I saw the first film, I have been a die-hard addict. I have come to love Spider-Man even more than when I was a little tike. It's not because they are good Spider-Man films, its because they are just damn good films! I can honestly say I do not know one person who disagrees with that, not a one, well there are people who haven't seen it because they just don't like Spider-Man; but too bad for them, they are the ones who are missing out. At any rate, every fan has full faith in this film and there is no reason it shouldn't knock them out of their seats in the theaters. Especially since the first two did, I still have a busted jaw from seeing the second. People would ask me, "What happened to your face man?" and I would say,

"I saw Spider-Man 2."

"Wow, its that good, huh!?"

"Oh yeah!"

The biggest aspect i'm looking forward to seeing is whats in store for the characters we have come to know and love, and how their development will entail the outcome of the story. The darker look and feel the story appears to have is nothing short of excellent. We all know Raimi already has many films under his belt including The Evil Dead trilogy, and now he will have the Spider-Man trilogy...i'm jealous :) I'm not trying to be a kiss-up, I'm just a crazed fanatic. May is just around the corner, fans all over the web are posting there thoughts on this film, and now I just left you with mine. Love the blog so far Mr. Curtis, I know you'll keep up the good work. I want to thank you Mr. Curtis, Sam Raimi, and the film crew for bringing fans a good quality story to the screen, something most other filmmakers fail to do. This blog has been a neat chance for fans to voice their feelings to the you the filmmakers. So once again, Thank You.

Just like U, my sister Anaëlle and I are waiting for SPIDERMAN 3. We can't look forward !!
But the fact is that I red in many reviews that their might have more than three malicious in this film.(VENOM, Harry, and an other I don't remember his name !)
My sister is 10 and I hope this movie isn't going to be too frighten as well as that. We love Spiderman we've already seen 100 or 150 times spiderman 1 and 2 ! And when I see the trailer, I'm askin' myself a question : Is Parker will have a double life with M.J ?? I don't understand anything because in fact I don't know ANYTHING about Spiderman's Comics and thanks to S.Raimi I've discovered this fabulous hero.
I just wanna have an answer. If you could say helo to Tobey (hey hey !! lol) it would be great !

I really hope its more dark and scary. If they dont make it dark and scary then venom isnt going to show his true colors. If you would read some comics with venom (read the old ones because newer ones he isnt as mean >.>) he was never really nice to anyone when he first came. He was always wanting to eat their brains and stuff.

i think that the movie will come out great, but i also think that there are to many charectors in the story line at once. you have harry Osborn as the green goblin the symbiat taking over peter parker, and also the main bad guy sand man. not to mention thinks just got serious betwen peter and MJ. I do think that the movie will do pritty good overal.

Thank you Mr. Curtis. Question. Can you talk about what's going on with the re-shoots? It was reported on super hero hype that James Franco mentioned that there would be re-shoots next month. The rumors are spreading like wildfire at the IMDB boards. Some people think the re-shoots are in response to negative test screenings, and that it called for more action. We really don't know for sure. Can you help us get the facts straight?

I really hope it comes out soon 'cause I've watched the teaser over and over again, day by day (It never gets old though, I mean never). Due to all of the speculation I've found online, I can't even imagine what the final version of the film will actually be like, but so far, I'm expecting a lot more than the previous spider-man films, especially since this could be the last of the franchize( I'm not just interested in the action and effects, but the story and other mind blowing plot lines that may come in the movie as well). Spider-Man 3 sounds pretty cool. I can't wait until it comes out. When I was in 4th grade,the boys in my class were talking about the next movie for Spider-Man. I didn't know if they were right,but they were.Spider-Man 3's coming out at the end of 6th grade.Sounds like a great movie.

Thisn movie is gonna be sweet. I can't wait to see the pretty ladies, Kirsten and Elizibeth, I think they're my favorite part of the story, and very nice to look at.

I've been looking for an avenue to express my admiration for this movie franchise, and may-be this is a good one.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Spider-Man 1. But I was completely unprepared for how much I LOVED Spider-Man 2! It literally rocked my world.

Spider-Man 2 thrilled my whole family... from my 7-year old niece to my 72-year old dad. I myself saw it 9 times at the IMAX... I'd NEVER seen a movie more than twice at a theatre before that!

My fascination with the character came as a surprise to me because, I’m no kid. I'm a professional woman... who is now a total Spidey FAN! How crazy is that?!

Shortly after seeing SM2, I got a few comics for my niece and nephew. They were mildly interested, but I was totally hooked. Who knew... a continuing Spidey "soap opera" with great art! He’s also a character I can relate to… with his struggle to identify and live up to his “great responsibility.” There's a love story (he's married to Mary Jane) and let's admit it, his many endearing qualities make him look all the more delicious in tights! In the past 2 years I’ve read almost all 40 years of Amazing Spider-Man, along with other old titles and the current ones. Collecting and studying Spider-Man is now a hobby of mine.

Of course, I am very excited about SM3. It sounds like the new story is going to be very compelling… but I do worry a little about the “darkness” and what will happen to Peter and Mary Jane. He can go through hell and back, as long as the ending is as exhilarating and uplifting as SM2. I don’t think my heart can take another poignant cliffhanger (SM1) or something depressing. But I trust Sam, and keep you all in my prayers… talk about responsibility… on so many levels this is HUGE.

Look forward to more updates and I’ll be one of the first in line come May!

I always thought it would be funny to see some Marvel references in the super hero movies. Like to catch a glimpse of the Fantastic 4 tower as Spidey is swinging by or during one of the X-Men movies to see a mysterious figure swing quickly by in the background. Things like that, things that maybe not everybody will catch on the first viewing of the movie and then later on will go, "Holy crap, did you just see what I think I did?"

Look at this, you know i sent an eMail to sony pictures a LONG time ago before spiderman 2 even came out, and i told them: "In spiderman 2 if you dont put venom I'm going to be MAD!" or something like that, and I was dissapointed when Venom didn't show up... Hey Mr.Raimi,
Maaaan the spiderman 3 looks so cool.I saw the 1st one and thought it was amazing,and spiderman 2 was even better with the very loud theater like quality.I mean it was intense.I even bought the 2 on widescreen special edition dvd,and still watch them over and over.

I thought william dafoe portrayed the goblin so well showed us the evil mind games and people he`s hurt in spidey`s life from the comicbooks onto the big screen.

Alfred Molina did a fantastic job as Doc Ock and all of the years I had watched the animated 90`s series,I pondered what doc ock would be like on the big screen.

The 90`s show was fantastic,and am glad you made me become more of a spidey fan.I mean adding the realistic touches to the birth of gobby and ock were very creative.

I liked the more realistic approach then the more imaginitive comicbook versions of the accidents that made them gobby and ock.

I even read the sunday paper spidey comicbooks too,and I even got the 1st issue in the ultimate spiderman blockbuster giftpack.

Anyways thanks for making my marvel movie experiences more enjoyable and I can`t wait for spiderman 3.
