International missing persons form
So after about a gazillion phone calls I finally got and filled out the international missing persons form. They had me fax it to a couple countries. took forever to fax, i'm so tired i kept pressing the wrong buttons for these really long international phone numbers. Jen, thanks for the help with the details.
way too many tapes
i havent slept in days. I think I just flunked my summer term final. feel like there’s more tapes here than when I started. most of this footage is totally is worthless. this morning I watched 60 minutes of nothing but Jason pointing the camera at his bathroom mirror. he didn’t say anything, he just stood there rolling tape. I also found this interview with one of the actors.

Stayed at a different hotel?
Here's a scan of the hotel receipt I was telling you about. It was at the bottom of that box of tapes. Jen said he was supposed to be at the Gyokuro hotel the whole time ... But about the time we stopped hearing from him, he was checked into another hotel called Ikebana for 2 days?
Staying at another hotel might make sense if they were in different cities or parts of town but I checked the city maps online, those two hotels are only like 2 blocks away from each other.
Does this mean anything?

this is taking longer than I thought. It’s tough to find anything useful because most of the time he’s just letting the camera roll while people on set are working. Here’s one of the few interview in this batch. It’s with the assistant director.

Got a package today... Jason's tapes
I received a package today. It’s Jason’s tapes. Customs finally released them to me. The box is pretty beat up but there must be like 200 hours of footage here.

Little help, anyone?
I know it seems silly but if anybody besides Jen and company happen to be reading this blog, any information at all would be helpful. Jason’s mom is really torn up about what’s going on and I promised her I’d help with things. I’ve never had to file a missing persons report before let alone try and find someone overseas. This whole situation is becoming way too heavy for me to deal with. Any help at all would be amazing. Thanks.

The "Situation" (...Scottie K49)
Scottie here. So I don’t know if I’m doing this right. I don’t do computer stuff as good as Jason. I’m sure you’re all aware by now of the situation. No one’s been able to get in touch with Jason for like a month. Not even his parents. I’ve been calling the production office in Japan but no one’s answering. We’ve contacted the authorities in Tokyo but they’ve made no progress. This is pretty messed up I know. I feel like any information anyone has to offer is going to be super helpful in figuring out where he might be.
