When Lynn needed a divorce attorney to represent her against Michael, she was convinced Randi King (played by Dixie Carter) was the right woman for the job. It didn't hurt when Randi told Lynn "I hate men and I play dirty." She earned her law degree while serving time in prison for shooting and killing her abusive husband. Becoming a partner this year, Randi deals with an eclectic group of colleagues, some of whom are not overly impressed with her legal credentials. She must also come to terms with her estranged daughter, and decide what to do when lover and assistant, Andres, returns from Chile.
