Jimmy McGuire
From exploring the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu to throwing passes with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jimmy McGuire brings a natural enthusiasm and innate curiosity when delivering "Jeopardy!" clues from the world's most fascinating destinations. Entering his 11th season with the Clue Crew, Jimmy says he is pleased with how the team has become a vital part of the show. In addition to delivering clues, Jimmy enjoys demonstrating and donating Classroom "Jeopardy!" units to deserving schools across the United States and abroad. "The joy that can be seen on the recipients' faces is immeasurable," says the Pittsburgh native, who, prior to "Jeopardy!," worked as a segment producer and reporter for a local television newsmagazine after graduating from Ohio University. Last season, Jimmy spent a lot of time in New York and delivered clues from the Metropolitan Opera, the Dance Theatre of Harlem, The Juilliard School and the New York Stock Exchange. He also has had the honor of scouting with the Boy Scouts of America and working with the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales. This past year also marked Jimmy's fifth time moderating a state level National Geographic Geography Bee. "The experience has been a whole lot of fun. To be associated with National Geographic is a tremendous honor!" When not filming clues for "Jeopardy!," Jimmy enjoys playing golf, bowling and is currently taking drum lessons.
