Kelly Miyahara

Kelly Miyahara is ecstatic to venture into her seventh season with the "Jeopardy!" Clue Crew. "While growing up, 'Jeopardy!' was the only show we were allowed to watch at dinner time," she said. "It's surreal to think it's now my job to travel the globe for my mom's favorite TV show!" Kelly has had opportunities she never imagined. Two of her favorite trips included cruising on an expedition ship to the Galápagos Islands and visiting Japan as part of Alex Trebek's USO tour. She said, "Visiting the Galápagos and seeing such pristine nature and wildlife was amazing. Also, having the chance to visit Japan, the country of my heritage, was absolutely priceless." Kelly spent her childhood in California, graduated from high school in Northern Virginia and earned a business degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Free-spirited and uncertain about what career path to take, Kelly followed her curiosity and passion for travel and lived abroad while backpacking throughout Europe. She discovered a love for Paris, which led her back to France to experience life as an elementary and middle school English teacher. Today, Kelly believes she has found her dream job that blends her love for travel, adventure, education and entertainment. Outside of "Jeopardy!," Kelly loves being "Auntie Ke-yee" and spending time with family and friends. She's constantly seeking her next travel destination and enjoys playing ball with her Sony sports teams. She is also very proud to be an Ironman triathlete, while dedicating her training and fundraising to cancer research with Team in Training.
