Kelly Miyahara

"While growing up and watching my mom's favorite TV show, Jeopardy!, I never dreamed that one day I'd actually be on it or join Alex Trebek on a USO tour in Japan," said Kelly Miyahara, who is now in her eighth season with the Jeopardy! Clue Crew. "I never imagined that I'd be delivering clues on the hood of a South African safari vehicle with my back to a pride of lions or spending a work day swimming with playful penguins in the Galapagos. It's incredible!" Kelly experienced life on both the West and East coasts, living in California and Virginia, before attending the University of Washington in Seattle where both her parents are alumni. After graduating from the School of Business, Kelly sought adventure abroad. Over a period of nearly two years, she lived mostly in Paris, France, while learning the language, backpacking and later becoming an elementary school English teacher. Kelly says, "Jeopardy! is a dream job because it brings together my three favorite loves-education, travel and entertainment." In her personal time, Kelly can be found happily sweating her heart out for charity to help fight cancer. Her biggest accomplishment has been becoming an Ironman triathlete.
