Michael Graziadei joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as Daniel Romalotti in May, 2004, as the son of rock star Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford).
In 2005 and 2006, Graziadei was nominated for Daytime Emmys in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actor.
Graziadei's television credits include guest-starring roles on "Grounded for Life," "Navy NCIS," "Beverly Hills, 90210," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Necessary Roughness." He recently landed a recurring role on the series "American Horror Story" starring Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Jessica Lange. He has appeared in numerous national commercials, including spots for Chevrolet and Jeep, and also did voiceover work for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Born in Germany, Graziadei made his stage debut at age five in a production of "The King and I." He later moved with his family to Nashua, N.H., where he began taking acting classes. A teacher's recommendation helped him land the role of Ensign Lovely in "The Basset Table," and he went on to perform in many other plays, including the period piece "The Servant of Two Masters" and Clive Barker's "History of the Devil."
He played a lead role in the feature "Boogeyman 2," released in summer, 2007. The film is the sequel to the hit "Boogeyman." He also starred in "Into the Blue 2: The Reef," which was released in 2009 and "The Outside" a feature film that is due out the end of 2009.
Graziadei is a passionate art and music lover. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar and writing music. He also enjoys the outdoors and is learning to surf since moving to Los Angeles.
