Arriving at the studio at 6:30am was very early being that we were too excited to sleep the night before. Now we see what celebrities have to go through, even though we are not celebrities we felt like and were treated like celebrities. We were both very tired because we did not sleep well the night before, but we were very excited at the same time. Walking through the parking lot seeing how happy and cheerful the Contestant Coordinators were so early in the morning was awesome! They made the experience so wonderful seeing how happy they were and how they were our cheerleaders!
We did not expect the studio to be so small. On television the puzzleboard and Wheel looks huge. Yet on March 11th we discovered the truth. We had tons of fun. Learning how heavy the Wheel is, and that there is actually a technique in spinning the Wheel. It was also wonderful meeting new people and the anticipation of knowing that in a matter of hours, then minutes, then seconds we were on the show! We have never gotten our make-up done by celebrity make-up artists and that made us feel very special. One good thing about that day was we were going to appear on the second show, which meant we did not have to stay all day.
Seeing Vanna and Pat was awesome. They are lovely people. Vanna is very beautiful and Pat is very handsome. Being on the show with the lights and cameras was a bit scary at first. We had to warm up to the Wheel and solving our first puzzle gave us a great deal of confidence. While playing the game we found the Toss-Up puzzles to be the hardest because those require speed. We had a blast! The thrill of having the million dollar wedge and the $10,000 wedge in our possession at the same time was the highlight of our appearance! However, hitting bankrupt afterwards was a real bummer!
With the winnings my sister and I have different plans. Both of us will do something nice for my mom. After we take care of her I want to save some and take care of some much needed business. She plans to save some and pimp her ride. We had an awesome time, and we would like to come back. The next time we would like to make it to the Bonus Round and party with Vanna and Pat! We would like to thank the Contestant Coordinators for their hospitality and excitement. We really enjoyed them, playing the game and being on television. My sister and I are very grateful for the opportunity to be on the show and meet Pat, Vanna and the wonderful staff.
To this day we continue to watch Wheel of Fortune and solve the puzzles. Wheel of Fortune will forever be a part of our family tradition. As young women this is the most exciting adventure in our lives thus far!
