POSTED 12-15

Before heading off to LA, I once again rubbed my Chihuahuas' little bellies for good luck. What can I say? They are the loves of my life and very special little guys. The night before my show, I could not sleep at all, which helped me to be up extra early to get ready so that I would be there on time.Arriving at the studio, I was a bundle of nerves and excitement. There were 6 shows being taped on my day."National Parks" was the theme of my day, and I was really excited for that because I am a true nature lover.I was picked for show 5 so I had some time to let my nerves calm down. When I first saw the set, it was beautiful, but secondly, it really was smaller in real life! The wheel is so heavy! At first I had trouble spinning it, but after a while I think I figured it out. After watching all the shows before me I was getting less nervous and more anxious, I was ready for my turn to spin the wheel!

Before my show, I told myself that I just wanted to make it to the bonus round, that was my main goal. I really wanted a shot at solving that last puzzle!
Playing in real life is nothing like solving puzzles at home watching. There are so many other factors that make it SO difficult when you're really there. It went by incredibly fast, literally "the fastest 20 minutes of my life" and before I knew it, I had won and was walking down to the bonus round area.Oh my gosh, I was freaking out, asking myself (and everyone around me) "wow, did I really make it to the bonus round?!"

Then over came Pat and the cameras started rolling."RSTLNE" showed up in the puzzle and I knew the answer immediately!Once again, it came to me out of nowhere!I was bursting with excitement that I was actually going to solve the bonus puzzle!

Next thing I know I solved the puzzle and heard a loud "POOF" and confetti was falling all around me.I was so surprised that I couldn't yell or screamI felt like I was going to faint! My boyfriend came running out and I was so happy to see him.I felt like I was in a dream, I kept telling Pat and Vanna "I can't believe I'm standing next to you right now!"Pat and Vanna were SO nice, and Pat even gave me a tissue!

I can't even begin to describe how blessed I feel to have been a part of this experience.Originally being from a small town, I never dreamed I'd get a chance to be on Wheel, but I was wrong! The contestant coordinators were so nice and wonderful. Pat and Vanna were even better in person. This experience proved to me that dreams really do come true!It is an amazing program that can change lives.I want to start my own dog line, inspired by my Chihuahuas! Thank you so much Wheel of Fortune!
