Time goes by so fast that it's hard to keep track of things like expiration dates. I went to get some Tylenol the other day, and it turned out the bottle had an expiration date of three years ago! That's not good! It prompted me to go through every item in my medicine cabinet and drawers and throw out all of the expired items, including the vitamins.
Have you noticed that the expiration dates are written so small on all the bottles? Here's how I solved that: I took a permanent marker and wrote the expiration dates in big letters on each item. This way, I can keep everything updated with a quick glance.
As long as you're tossing the expired stuff, go through your kitchen cabinets, too. Pay special attention to things like the pancake mixes, cereals, and other boxed items. Canned goods last a lot longer, but it's a good idea to check those too. Think of all the extra space you'll have!
When is the last time you cleaned out your medicine cabinet? I suggest you do it right now!

And it's time to check & replace the batteries in the smoke detectors! :o) Every time change they say! :)
Have an enjoyable upcoming week, Vanna! :)
Tell Pat we say "Hi" from the Buckeye State! :)
We do the same thing Vanna. we always look at the dates on everything we buy at the store and we always look for the longest lasting foods so you are wize just like me and my mom.

Dear Vanna,
My husband ( of 58 yrs) Euclid and I watch you and Pat every day. We do so enjoy the show, loving every minute of it. We get pretty good with the puzzles, too.
This past year, you have shown some of the hosts/hostesses of shows from all over the globe. I just want to tell you, Vanna, that you are just a top notch lady in every aspect of the word. Your clothing is so beautiful, and I can't wait every day to see what you have on today. You are a beautiful, lovely lady.
God Bless you
We love you
