HELPFUL HINT: ICE PACK

| | Comments (5)
If you need a quick ice pack, use a bag of frozen peas from the freezer instead of filling a baggie with ice. You can break up the peas by hitting them on the counter top a couple of times, which actually makes it easier to form to the body part that needs the ice pack most. And best of all, it doesn't leak!

They do work great. You can get them on the way home. The first 24 hours are the most important. Dont forget to elevate too. PS Hi vanna

Yes Vanna that is a wize thing to to and I'll be shore to tell my mom... thanks Vanna for your great advice your fan MayLyn

Another trick that I have used is to put a damp washcloth in a small-sized "zipper" bag, zip it shut and throw it in the freezer. It is great especially for bad toothaches. Also it molds to your body pretty well, and, once the ice melts, the washcloth re-absorbs it, so no mess.
Bags of rice quickly microwaved and put into a pillowcase can also make great, portable, "heating pads".

I had wanted you to know the best hint I have ever got came from you. I hate my plastic wrap falling out of the box. You explained about the the tabs on the side of the box. I am so stupid!!! I have told everyone about it. I think this is the best kept secret. Everyone I told never new about it!! THANK YOU!!
