Do you remember your High School Prom? Here's a photo of the night I went to mine, way back in the early 1970s. I don't remember much of the details, but thought you might enjoy seeing this old photo! By the way, this was NOT a designer gown.
I had a very similar dress as my Prom dress in 1973! Mine was in aqua and white though. I even wore my hair in a similar style! It is nice that we had the same wonderful sense of style back then!

Those were the days when young ladies were dressed. These days nothing is left to the imagination.

Like any flower,you blossomed into a beautiful woman.At 5PM my grand daughter& I sit and watch sponge Bob--6to7 I nap===7PM I get woken up to IT IS TIME FOR VANNA. The very best time of the day.
When I was little my parents and I played the game "what color with Vanna wear tonight." I got to pick three colors you might wear and they each got to pick one, haha. If any of us got it right we won!
Vanna I remember seeing that dress in your book Vanna Speaks. I just love that dress on you.. you look so pretty in it. I wish I could go to a prom and have a dress just like yours.

I had not known that was such a popular dress!! I had that pattern of style made for a Maid of Honor dress.It looked almost the same as yours but with extra lace trim.It was 1974.I always enjoy seeing you in all of the different fashions.

I wore a blue dress on my prom too. I like this dress but its not as form fitting as the ones you wear on tv today. Isn'tfunny how we wear loose clothes when we are young and tighter ones when were older? I think you look great in either clothes loose or tight.
seeing you at your prom reminds me of just what i missed out on. a girl asked me to the prom but i was too shy and didn't go.
Vanna, my it sure is amazing how styles have changed since the old prom days. Those gowns you be wearing are real nice. Keep wearing them.
