Do you make coffee in a coffee pot everyday? I've heard that you should brew a bottle of distilled white vinegar through it to clean all the coils. After I pour the vinegar in and let it brew, I then run a cycle of water through it to take away any vinegar that might be lingering. I make a mark in my calendar to do this once a month. I think it helps keep away that muddy taste that coffee has sometimes.

I should do that more often. I also brew my own ice tea and put the tea bags in the coffee filter and after the tea has cooled add the ice & lemonade. But before I make the ice tea, I do the vinegar rinse as I don't want any leftover coffee flavor. I read in a household book to use brewed grinds in the garden too.I just Love good coffee though, I think I'll do the vinegar rinse now while it is on my mind! Thanks.
tx vanna,
this is really helpful
& you wouldn't believe how much quicker the
brew time is too!!
Thanks Vanna for recently mentioning on the show, the trick to peel a banana by starting from the bottom. I think you had talked about it before, but I had forgotten. BTW, there may be a 'Vanna for a day' person, but it certainly won't diminish your beauty (inside or out) and delightful smile.
