Spending Time With The Kids

| | Comments (8)
Do you have more than one child? Do you ever spend one-on-one time with them? I think it's a healthy thing to incorporate into your life. I know we all have such busy lives these days and it's easier to take all the kids out at the same time, but our children grow up so fast and then they are gone. It's good to have some private one-on-one time together.

I try and spend individual time with each of my two kids. For example, I will take one of them out shopping, for ice cream, to the movies, or even out to dinner. I think that they enjoy this special attention. Try it and let me know how it goes!

My 1st granddaughter & I had are special time together. We would go out to eat, then go to a movie and afterwards, if there was time we would go shopping. We always had fun & it made her feel special!! And it always made me feel good, too!! She called it our "Girls day out."
My grandson is 7 yrs. younger, so he wasn't into the shopping thing much...unless it involued Toys! So giving him a day that would be special to him also. His choice of a few things that I knew he would like to do. He was always asking me when were we were doing again. LOL!!
My 2nd granddaughter she is 3. So just about anything will do. But I tried to make sure that they had their special day. Of course, it was always mine too! Spending those special days with them.

Well,I'm kinda new to all this,As I thought I wrote a message to you about my grown twins daughters who's friends thought they looked like you when they were in college and still do.
Like you, they each have a son and a daughter and it was suggested that all three of us should do a Wheel of Fortune as a Mother-Daughter team and of course we all LOVE Las Vegas,HINT HINT.
I just want to say how much we have enjoyed watching the Wheel since the first show.
I remember seeing you on Lets Make a Deal with Bob barker.
Say HI to pat for us.

I enjoyed this very much! My 9yr. old grand-daughter and I spend special time together along with grand-pa. But now I'm thinking of doing it alone with her. My only problem is she makes me spend to much money. She and I love clothes so much. She loves to be in style. you would think she is 16 instead of 9. We look on the sale rack and she usually finds something. We go out to eat lunch and then home. It's a very special day for us. edn6

I love cats too, I had a cat named Sassy, but she was taken by coyotes, we think. I miss her alot, she was very affectinate to me and sat in my lap all the time, whenever I sat down she was there. She was all white and very sweet. She would get in my face and kiss me on the nose, I loved it.
Love the show, watch it every night that I can.

Hi Vanna,
I love watching Wheel of Fortune, Watched it for many years. My husband watches Wheel of Fortune just to see you.
Sincerely,
Rosemary

My Mom passed away some 20 yrs ago and I still miss our "girls day" out when she came to visit me in Mass., where I used to lived. It was great.Keep up with your chilren what you're doing ,you won't regret it. It's special.Good luck.

My 27 year old son comes over every Sunday afternoon and spends the evening with me. He does a few chores for me, and in return, I make him a home-cooked meal and let him watch whatever he wants to on TV.
My daughter has my two beautiful grandchildren, and as she works full-time, spends most of her free time with them. I get to spend more time with my grandkids than I do with her, but she is a wonderful daughter, mother and wife.
I have great kids!
