Emmanuelle Borde is Executive Vice President, Post Media Center, and is responsible for managing overall operations, strategy and planning for the group.

The Post Media Center offers a complete spectrum of digital mastering, versioning and archiving services for film and television projects: picture mastering (HD/4K, SDR/HDR), audio mastering (near field 5.1, 7.1 and immersive ATMOS & AURO), foreign language mastering, creative editorial (censorship cuts, Standards & Practices edits, TV time edits), picture and audio archive. Under Borde’s direction, the Post Media Center became a leader in digital workflows and media processing with state-of-the-art technologies and was one of the first Post Production facilities to operationalize IMF (Interoperable Master Format) workflows.

Borde joined Sony in 2000 as a Creative Director for Sony Pictures Digital and later became Vice President, Worldwide Production & Marketing before getting promoted to Senior Vice President of Imageworks Interactive in 2007. In 2012, Borde was named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sony Pictures Interactive, the digital production and marketing studio known for its award-winning, global campaigns for movies and television shows. She ran strategy for SonyPictures.com and led the Web Governance Steering Committee for Sony Pictures. In 2013, she assumed additional responsibilities over Post Production and Content Licensing. Pushing digital transformation and a holistic view of end-to-end mastering and distribution workflow, she later created and led the Global Mastering & Servicing group where she oversaw mastering, localization (dubbing & subtitling), supply chain management, global title data management, and digital media technology.

Prior to Sony, Borde was head of worldwide marketing for New Regency Productions where she led all aspects of marketing. Before New Regency, she worked on creative advertising campaigns for dozens of movies at Twentieth Century Fox and was responsible for digital marketing strategy and digital production (movie websites and games).

Since 1998, Borde has been teaching various digital marketing and production classes at the graduate level. She started teaching as a visiting assistant professor at the University of California Los Angeles for the Master of Fine Arts’ Producers Program in the Department of Film, Television and Digital Media. She also periodically gives lectures for the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America, Hollywood Post Alliance and Society of Motion Pictures & Television Engineers.

A native of France, Borde obtained a Maîtrise de Cinéma degree with honors from the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle Film School, an advanced degree in English and American Law from the Institute of Comparative Law, and a law degree from the Université du Panthéon-Assas Law School in Paris. She came to the United States to attend the Producers Program at UCLA.
