Sony Pictures Post Production Services' Sound Editorial department maintains an extensive and ever-expanding sound library. In addition to offering the latest commercial libraries, we have a large collection of original sound effects, built over many years and countless hit movies. We also provide custom recording services; if a filmmaker needs a sound effect that is not currently available, we can go on location to capture and create it.
Sound Editorial is dedicated to providing quality solutions in an efficient and user-friendly manner. All of the effects in our vast collection are stored on a central Apple XServe RAID system. Soundminer asset management software allows for fast and easy search and retrieval of elements.
