SAO PAULO, Brazil, (Oct. 11, 2012) – Crackle, the multi-platform video entertainment network, today unveiled a free application for PlayStation 3, making its full suite of ad-supported full-length movies, television series and original programming available to all PlayStation 3 users in Latin America and Brazil. Crackle is the only digital network to feature free-to-consumer full-length, unedited movies and television series on this platform. The announcement was made by Jose Rivera Font, vice president and general manager, Crackle, Latin America and Brazil at the Brasil Game Show, the largest gaming exhibition in Latin America.
Crackle's ad-supported service provides consumers with a uniquely curated experience that includes a variety of Hollywood movies in genres including action, comedy, crime, horror, thriller and sci-fi, a selection of episodes from recognizable television series, and original programming including The Unknown, Adventures of Jackie Chan, The Critic and Kidnapped. All of Crackle's programming can be accessed online, via Xperia smartphones and Sony tablets, BRAVIA televisions, and now, on PlayStation 3. Titles are available in English with either dubbed or sub-titled options in Portuguese available.

The free Crackle app can be found in the PlayStation 3 Store. Once downloaded, users are able to use the PlayStation 3 analog stick for easy navigation when selecting programming.
