Carrie Ferman Named Svp Business Strategy And Development, International Production, For Sony Pictures Television

London, UK (7 February 2013) — Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has appointed Carrie Ferman to senior vice president, business strategy and development, International Production, it was announced today.

In this role, Ferman will support SPT's international productions, and its successful portfolio of 18 production companies, in strategic planning and growing SPT's business in key areas. Ferman will report to Andrea Wong, president, International Production for Sony Pictures Television, and will be based at SPT's London office.

Ferman most recently served as chief executive officer for Remark Media in New York. She previously held the position of vice president at NBC Universal, where she oversaw business development and strategy initiatives across the company's local media division. Prior to that she held planning and analysis roles at Time Warner, Cap Gemini and The Walt Disney Company.
