Sheraton Kalouria Promoted To President & Chief Marketing Officer For Sony Pictures Television

CULVER CITY, CA (APRIL 27, 2016) - Sheraton Kalouria has been promoted to president & chief marketing officer for Sony Pictures Television (SPT), it was announced today by Steve Mosko, chairman, SPT, to whom he will continue to report. In this newly expanded role, Kalouria will now oversee consumer products licensing for SPT series and brands as part of the division's global marketing function.

"Sheraton is a valued member of the SPT executive team, whose marketing expertise and strategic vision have set our business and content offering apart in the rapidly evolving television marketplace," said Mosko.

Kalouria will have oversight of SPT's consumer products licensing, which has been integrated into the marketing unit to fully exploit television franchises like The Blacklist, Outlander, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Shark Tank and the upcoming Preacher across all product categories.

Kalouria continues to be responsible for all marketing initiatives for SPT's U.S. productions, international productions, U.S. ad sales, U.S. distribution, international distribution and global networks. He is in charge of the development and strategic implementation of sales marketing and client support operations; consumer marketing and publicity; and digital, social media and talent relations for network, syndication, cable and new media programming worldwide. He previously served as executive vice president & chief marketing officer for SPT, since 2011.

Kalouria joined SPT in 2010 as senior vice president of programming business development, where he identified and executed partnerships that leveraged SPT productions as platforms for promotional alliances, merchandising and other related entertainment productions.

From 2005 to 2008, Kalouria served as president of broadcasting at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where he successfully launched the Emmy-winning The Martha Stewart Show in national syndication and served as executive producer on more than a dozen series and specials. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of daytime programs at NBCUniversal, helping to lift the ratings of the NBC Daytime lineup from third to first place among the broadcast networks. Kalouria held positions with The Walt Disney Company's ABC Television Network before joining NBCUniversal.

Kalouria received his MBA From Northwestern University and is an alumnus of Ohio's Miami University.
