SONY PICTURES TELEVISION ACQUIRES MAJORITY STAKE IN ALEX BASKIN’S 32 FLAVORS, EXPANDING PREMIUM UNSCRIPTED PORTFOLIO

CULVER CITY, Calif. – Sony Pictures Television (SPT) today announced it has acquired a majority interest in Alex Baskin’s production company, 32 Flavors.

Founded in 2023 by Baskin, 32 Flavors has rapidly established a broad-based content business spanning premium unscripted programming, including documentaries, true crime, podcasts and talk, alongside scripted development, drawing on Baskin’s track record of creating and sustaining some of the genre’s most enduring franchises. Its portfolio includes the Emmy-nominated Vanderpump RulesThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County, and The Valley, as well as its recent spinoff The Valley: Persian Style and the Netflix podcast Shut Up Evan

The company is also continuing to expand its current slate with forthcoming series including Still Flipping Out and Love Thy Nader, which it joined beginning with the show’s upcoming second season.

Baskin will remain CEO of the company, and the company’s leadership team will continue in their current roles.
