NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES – June 22, 2021 – Sony Music Entertainment (SME) and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) today announced the digital release of Bob Dylan: Odds and Ends, a new compilation film featuring rare elements from throughout the artist’s career. The film’s release highlights a distribution collaboration between the companies for longform content, documentaries, and concert films from some of the most iconic artists in the SME catalog across multiple digital platforms.

Culver City CA – June 1, 2021 – Sony Pictures Television (SPT) today announced the launch of its Diverse Writers Program. Sixteen participants kick off a six-week professional development program in which they will have discussions with creative executives, producers, seasoned writers and showrunners with the aim of honing their skills in writing scripted television. In addition to having the opportunity to network with industry professionals, each writer will be assigned a mentor from SPT’s robust pool of producers and writers.

Hollywood, Calif., April 8, 2021 -- Netflix and Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) have today announced a multiyear, exclusive first pay window licensing deal in the U.S. for theatrically released SPE feature films, beginning with their 2022 film slate. This new agreement builds upon Netflix’s pre-existing output deal with Sony Pictures Animation films to now include all SPE film labels and genres.

Bangsaray, Thailand, April 7 2021: Sony Pictures Entertainment and Amazon Falls announced today that they have closed a deal to develop the 14-acre prime location in the seaside town of Bangsaray, located 20 minutes from Pattaya and 90 minutes from Bangkok,  to open the world’s first Columbia Pictures theme and waterpark, “Columbia Pictures’ Aquaverse.”

NEW YORK (January 30, 2020) – Sony Pictures Classics announced tonight that they have acquired all worldwide rights to the film, JOCKEY.  Directed by Clint Bentley and written by Bentley and Greg Kwedar, the film stars Clifton Collins, Jr., Molly Parker, Moises Arias, Logan Cormier, Colleen Hartnett.  JOCKEY will premiere on Sunday, January 31 in the US Dramatic Competition section at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
