Her husband Jim, long a champion of the townsfolk of Stampede, Arizona, had disappeared under mysterious circumstances five years earlier. Shortly thereafter, with reports of his death, she resigned herself to a life of mourning. When Tim McCoy blows into town as Texas Grant, everyone agrees he's the spittin' image of the lateJim Rawlins. and soon he's wrangled into filling the dead rancher's boots. To keep her land and restore order to the town, Helena agrees to go along with the ruse. Tex teams up with loyal Pickett anda few other good guys to run the outlaws out of town Finally, the big shootout between Tex and Utah, produces some surprising results.
