OUTLANDER

The eighth and final season of Outlander follows Jamie and Claire Fraser as they leave the Revolutionary War behind and return home to Fraser’s Ridge. There, they are met by new arrivals and changes to their community made during their years away fighting for the American cause. Fraser’s Ridge is now a thriving settlement, one that has been operating without the Frasers or their influence for some time. Jamie and Claire soon learn that leaving the war behind is not as easy as they believed and are confronted with the question of what they are willing to sacrifice for the place they call home - even as it changes around them - and, more importantly, what they would sacrifice to stay together.

While the Frasers keep a united front against outside intruders, family secrets finally come to light that threaten to tear them apart from within. The MacKenzies return with information from the future that, unknown to them, spells deadly consequences for family members and the Ridge at large. Although they have left the war for America’s freedom behind, their fight for Fraser’s Ridge has only just begun.
