NEW YORK, (April 22, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they will release Bennett Miller's FOXCATCHER in the United States on November 14. The film will premiere in the In Competition Section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.

Directed by Bennett Miller (MONEYBALL, CAPOTE), FOXCATCHER tells the gripping, true story of Olympic Wrestling Champion brothers Mark Schultz (Tatum) and Dave Schultz (Ruffalo) and their relationship with the eccentric John du Pont (Carell), heir to the du Pont Chemical fortune that led to murder.

NEW YORK, (April 22, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American, Eastern European and Asian rights to the documentary RED ARMY from filmmaker Gabe Polsky. The film was just announced as part of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival lineup in the Special Screening Section.

NEW YORK (April 7, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that it will release Martha Stephens & Aaron Katz's LAND HO! on July 11 in New York and Los Angeles, followed by openings nationwide. Additionally, LAND HO! will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in April and the Los Angeles Film Festival in June. The film made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, where it played to great critical acclaim.

CULVER CITY, Calif., April 4, 2014 - Michelle Monaghan and Peter Dinklage have joined Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Josh Gad in the cast of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Pixels, which will be directed by Chris Columbus and released in the Summer of 2015. Principal photography will begin in June of this year on the Happy Madison/1492 Pictures production, which was written by Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling, based on the short film directed by Patrick Jean and produced by One More Production.

CULVER CITY, Calif., April 1, 2014 - TriStar Productions today announced an all-star band of film talent will collaborate on Ricki and the Flash. Produced by Marc Platt and Mason Novick, the film unites Oscar® winners Diablo Cody, who wrote the original screenplay, director Jonathan Demme, and Meryl Streep, who will star in the title role.

March 25, 2014 - Madison Gate Records and SpaceLab9 announced today the worldwide release of THE RAID 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The album hits digital retailers today, March 25th, with the CD format coming April 29, 2014, followed by a deluxe vinyl LP edition early summer 2014. THE RAID 2 will arrive in U.S. theaters this Friday, March 28th, and is distributed by Sony Pictures Classics.

NEW YORK (March 20, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American, Australian and NZ, Asian, Eastern European and Russian rights to James D. Cooper's directorial debut LAMBERT & STAMP. The film stars Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert, and features Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and Terence Stamp. The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival to wide acclaim and critical reviews.

NEW YORK (February 18, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all rights in North America, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand to Zhang Yimou's COMING HOME starring Gong Li. The film, currently in post-production, is produced by Bill Kong and LeVision Pictures' Zhang Zhao. Lava Bear Films' David Linde executive produced.
