LOS ANGELES, CA — January 23, 2025 — 19 Entertainment, the Sony Pictures Television (SPT) company led by Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman, announced today it has hired Joey Arbagey, the established music executive behind numerous global hit artists and songs, as Executive Vice President of Music.

CULVER CITY, CA (January 21, 2025) -- Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) announced today that Keith Le Goy has been named Chairman, Sony Pictures Television, expanding his oversight to lead all of Sony Pictures Television’s domestic and international production, including the game show business and GSN (Game Show Network). He will continue to report to Ravi Ahuja, who took the helm as SPE’s President and CEO at the beginning of the month.

NEW YORK (January 17, 2025) – Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they will release THE PENGUIN LESSONS in theaters nationwide on March 28, 2025.  Based on Tom Michell’s 2016 memoir of the same name, the film is directed by Oscar® nominee Peter Cattaneo (MILITARY WIVES, THE FULL MONTY) with a screenplay by BAFTA Award®-winning writer Jeff Pope (STAN & OLLIE, THE LOST KING).

NEW YORK (October 8, 2024) – Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired the romantic drama ON SWIFT HORSES, with rights in North America, Latin America, Turkey, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, India, Italy, Australia and New Zealand. The news comes after the film’s recent world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
